Bryanna, originally from Australia, and Kyall, an SA local, resides in Hong Kong and both flies “big planes” for a living. This fun loving couple met a few years ago at Flying School in Port Alfred. It therefore felt natural that their wedding should reflect their love of aviation as well as their sense of wanderlust. Little touches of this theme can be spotted throughout the wedding, from the dance floor sticker to their paper jet order of service.

When it came to selecting a wedding venue Bryanna and Kyall was very clear, they wanted to showcase the best of what the Western Cape offers. Vrede and Lust was the perfect setting for this outdoor wedding. The spectacular mountains created a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony and the Vineyard Terrace venue surrounded by its frameless glass windows offered guests a cozy space to dance the night away. To introduce some SA flavours to this destination wedding, guests were treated to braai canape station – needless to say it went down very well.

Purple was the colour of the day for this sunny May wedding. We went on quite a search to find the perfect purple flower and finally we found these beautiful purple tulips. Bryanna was sold and the rest is history.
