Anastasia and Nick had a real life Big Fat Greek Wedding. They are both very family orientated people and wanted to incorporate as much of this feel into their wedding. One of their favourite things to do is have a chilled braai with their large family on the weekend. They wanted their wedding to be a chilled celebration with lots of music, good food and people.

They were going for a rustic laid-back feel for the look and feel of the day. Anastasia specifically wanted olive branches, roses and fynbos to be used to add to the Mediterranean/Greek feel.

She had 8 flower girls! Aren’t they cute – I especially LOVE their clean and simple flower crowns.

A truly gorgeous Greek celebration at one of our favourite venues – Rockhaven in Elgin. This stunning wedding was also featured on Lovilee.

Anastasia gave me some feedback about her special day and I was so touched that I thought to include it here:

Dear Theresa,

Nick and I owe you a great deal of thanks. Our wedding was, in our totally biased opinion, absolutely perfect and your role was pivotal in making it a success.

From the initial discussions, you were organised and creative and enthusiastic. You gave informed guidance where it was required, and stepped back where we preferred to take the reins. Our comments and suggestions were taken seriously, and incorporated into the day beautifully. We were also impressed by the quality of the service providers you work with – so many things happened behind the scenes without any stress or effort on our part. We arrived on the day and it looked magical!

Your efforts were not only noticed and appreciated by us, so many members of our extended family and guests at our wedding have commented on the way that you were calmly keeping the show on the road on the day. A cousin mentioned that when her daughter gets married – bearing in mind she is currently only ten years old – you would be the first person she called! Tom the DJ called you ‘the real deal’.

Well done Theresa, and congratulations on a job so very well done. You made the wedding of our dreams come true, and we are so grateful.
