24 Aug Moroccan Inspired Bridal Shoot
We put a classical spin on the typical Moroccan wedding and tried to move away from the expected Boho-style that comes with this particular theme. Well chosen specific elements from Moroccan weddings were incorporated into this shoot. This wedding style would work very well for the bride who would like to weave a unique culture into her wedding day but still keep focused on the traditional wedding elements.
The harsh landscape and the colours associated with the Moroccan spice markets served as inspiration for our colour pallet. Dark Yellow (some will call it light orange) was the main colour for this shoot which we combined with warm tones of gold, copper and textures of leather, glass and wood. We are so pleased with how well the table decor turned out. Definitely one of our favorites!
We choose two romantic lace dresses from the collection of the talented Robyn Roberts. The beautiful lace detail was to represent the Moroccan patterns found in their architecture, tile work and textiles. The lace pattern continued onto the wedding cake and stationery.
