Emily and Bruce getting married is proof to my romantic soul that there is a love out there waiting just for you! Emily hails from the United States. Bruce was born and bred in South Africa. Yet their paths were destined to cross thousands of miles away, across several oceans … in Hong Kong, where they currently live!
When they decided to tie the knot, they opted to have the wedding in the beautiful Western Cape, and selected Rockhaven Farm in the Elgin Valley near Somerset West as their venue.
I loved how the colour palette succeeded in combining both the elegant and rustic elements of the scheme. The sophisticated French and navy blues contrasted beautifully with the warm and romantic peaches and pinks. Likewise, the sparkle and glitter of fairy lights against the rough texture of the barn walls, underlined these same contrasts.
